It offers a variety of deflections suited to many applications.
From 5' 8" [1.7m] to 9' 2" [2.8m].
Utilizes strong (up to 100 KSI yield strength) yet economical
4 lb. Nucor Marion Steel Rib-Bak® posts, galvanized
for long life.
Its appearance makes it an attractive alternative to traditional
W-beam and concrete barriers.
Costs 50% to 75% less
than W-beam or concrete, and up to 20% less than other
high-tension cable systems.

Test Level 4 Median
|
The high-tension system utilizes cost-effective standard
¾" steel
cables (pre-stretched cable can be
used), tensioned up to 5,600
lbs. (25KN).
Attached to Nucor Rib-Bak
U-channel steel posts by unique locking
hook bolts and cable hanger straps
that absorb energy during crashes.
It is anchored at both ends into
FHWA accepted Cable Release & Trigger Posts.
There is nothing else like it for performance, looks
